Can you share more about the inspiration for the theme “Malicious Editions” and anything that the editors are looking for specifically for the theme? My mind is going to haunted libraries, but I’m sure there must be more to it than that.
Hi Amy. Here’s the official call: we are seeking work on the theme of books / writings with malicious intent. Sentient books. Books with motive. Send us your work on sinister series, evil encyclopedias, handbooks of harm, dictionaries of destruction. We want narratives about nefarious novels, poems on pernicious paperbacks. Whether a single manual of malevolence or volumes of villainy, send us your darkest work on baneful books.
