David Radavich
Who can find
a way out
of this world,
its tangles,
its wrong turns
and high walls,
threat of destruction
and only the sun
high and distant
like an absent god?
The body as
a kind of box
with no exit
but this string
of life
given us
to follow with
and claim air
that welcomes us
into the open
realm of possibilities.
