Elizabeth Pierce was born and raised in the Twin Cities, MN. She is currently enrolled in the BFA program at Hamline University, and hopes to complete an MFA program in creative writing. She enjoys the more visceral side of poetry, constantly looking for new ways to make readers cringe just enough to raise goosebumps, but not quite enough to walk away.
